How To Get Free Hosting For Your Website | Host Your Website On Google Drive | 2021

Today I will tell you how to host your website on Google Drive for free.

Some people want to host their website on live server and live their website but they do not have enough budget to buy domain and hosting and upload their website to life server.

To a web design student In the beginning, buying domain hosting is expensive.

Google Drive In Short ?

Google Drive is a product of Google. This is a cloud storage. Creating a free account on a website and we can upload our data such as photos, videos, documents and other files and a lot of data by creating a free account and our data is secure on this website.

 

➊ Upload website on Drive

 ► Follow these steps

1. Open a browser in your computer.

2. Visit Google Drive website  If you are not sign in to Google Drive, First you sign in your google account.

Click on Go to drive button, then the signin window will open in front of you fill your account details and sign in google drive.

3. As soon as you sign in to your Google Drive, you will see that your Google Drive account is open.

4. Then we need to create a folder on our Google drive so that we can upload our website data like (html ,css , javascript..) to this folder.

5. So to create the folder you will see an Add new button in the left side bar. You can click on this button.

6. Then name the folder you want to, then click the Create button.

7. Now your folder is create. Double click on this folder and enter the folder and upload your website coding files by drag and drop.

it takes some time to upload, depend on your files size

And friends you have to make sure that your main HTML file is place in main folder (recently you created a folder in it)

8. So now we have to create a shareable link of this folder. To make it shareable, click on the folder in the sidebar and there you will see a Share button click it.

9. Now a popup show in front of you. Here you will see a line that written Change anyone with the link . Click this line.

10. After click Here you will se Anyone with the link. click anyone with the link and click Done button.

➋ Now Host website on DriveToWeb

What is DriveToWeb ?

This is a server less web hosting website. After uploading website to Google Drive, We used DriveToWeb for host our website on it.

 ► Follow these steps

11. Open new tab in your browser and Visit Drive To Web click this link for open this website drv.tw

12. After open this site. You see Host on Google Drive written, you click on it.

13. It will then ask you to sign in with Gmail account. Reads privacy policy terms before you sign in with Google Drive. Then sign in with the same Gmail account to which you uploaded your website files. 

12. Then you will see Allow button then click on the Allow button.

13. You will then be taken to the admin panel of DriveToWeb website.

It will then create a link of your website, After clicking on the link you will be able to open your uploaded website.

As you can see, after I was clicked on my link, my uploaded website was open after Clicking that link.

So now you can copy this link and save it in any text editor you have.
